My career interest include \u00a0teaching and research in Clinical Anatomy \u00a0and Musculoskeletal and Sports Physiotherapy. My research\u00a0focus is on tendinopathy and I am the Principal investigator of the University of Lagos, Tendon Research group and also the Sports Injury group of the University of Lagos Centre for Genomics of Non-communicable Diseases and Personalized Healthcare . The Tendon research group accessed the TetFund IBR grant in 2018 to investigate the Molecular, Biomechanical and Morphological Effects of Intrasound Therapy on Non-Mechanical Fluoroquinolone-Induced Achilles Tendinopathy\u00a0and the study has been successfully completed and published. My\u00a0present research focus is on mechanical and natural modalities that will either prevent degeneration or restore tendon morphology and function in tendinopathy.
