Welcome to the department of Clinical Pathology, College of Medicine, University of Lagos. The broad philosophy of the department is to contribute to the production of Nigerian trained medical graduates who are of comparable nationally and internationally by providing a strong foundation in Chemical Pathology.
In order to achieve her objectives, the department is invested in teaching, research and skill acquisition in various laboratory techniques.
The department of Clinical Pathology, along with sister departments in the College of Medicine, University of Lagos, have recently adopted the new SPICCES curriculum, which is a student centered, competency based learning approach with community involvement to improve the quality of our medical graduates.
