Personal Statement

I am a physician and academic with specialisation in
Endocrinology and Metabolism. My career is dedicated to advancing medical
education and fostering clinical excellence through the mentorship of
undergraduate students and postgraduate residents. I have participated in
international collaborative research, including the IDMPS Wave-6 diabetes
registry, which enhanced my expertise in protocol compliance and Good Clinical
Practice. My research contributions span diabetes mellitus, adrenal and thyroid
disorders, and include multicenter studies on anthropometric thresholds in
Nigerians. I am committed to expanding the frontiers of endocrinology through
rigorous research and the cultivation of future specialists.
